CSORC membership enquiries:

CSORC is part of the Civil Service Sailing Association (CSSA) which is the sailing arm of Civil Service Sports & Leisure (CSSC). In order to join CSORC you first join the CSSC and CSSA.

How to join

  1. Join CSSC.
  2. Join the CSSA.
  3. CSORC crew bureau form.

Full Membership


Open to anyone who is an employee in the public sector or of Royal Mail, BT, or companies carrying out ex-civil service work; or is a past employee of one of these organisations retired on pension.

Linked Membership


For those not otherwise eligible for CSSC membership. CSSC members can nominate up to three adult family members or friends to join. Linked Members pay by Direct Debit and have the same membership rights.

Leaving the Civil Service?


You can keep your membership after leaving the Civil Service if you make arrangements within three months of leaving. If you are outsourced then you may be eligible to join even if you haven't previously been a member. Contact the CSSC for more information.

Civil Service Offshore Racing Club

Download CSORC crew bureau form (369 KB).

Once you have joined the CSSA you can join CSORC simply by completing a crew bureau / membership form. There is no cost for membership.
