All events depend on sufficient interest. Cost does not include food or mooring fees unless specified. We recommend that you have insurance.

Sunsail Race Series. A series of round-the-cans inshore racing weekends with two races per day on Saturday and Sunday. Join the boat Friday evening, finish by five thirty on Sunday. Because the racing is on matched boats it is all down to the crew. A lot of racing is packed into a weekend, and all at a relatively modest cost. For 2011 Sunsail have replaced their fleet of Jenneau 37s with a new fleet of Beneteau 40s. This has meant an increase in cost but still represents very good value. We do expect the demand for Sunsail boats to be high this year, so it is important that you book early with the crew bureau so we can get our charter arranged early.

‡ The Sunsail Chiller Day consists of three races on the Saturday and a day of free sailing on the Sunday at a bargain price. It will also give us a chance to try out the new boats.

§ The Fastnet campaign comprises 300 miles of qualifying races plus the Rolex Fastnet race itself. The qualifying races will be the Cervantes Trophy, De Guingand Bowl and Myth of Malham, with the Morgan Cup as a reserve in case we don't complete a race due to e.g. light winds. There may be places on the qualifying races for crew not racing in the Fastnet itself. Cost for the whole campaign is anticipated as £1600 including training. The Fastnet is a Civil Service representative event and is only open to members of the CSSC.

JOG races. The Junior Offshore Group organises shorter offshore and coastal races.
